Shipping policy

Thank-you for shopping with HappyTortoises.  The following is our shipping policy where you can find answers to questions you have about shipping times and rates.

Order processing time 

All orders are processed within 3 business days.  Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days.  Please allow additional days in transit for delivery.  If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

**Postal delays: Due to the current delays we are experiencing with our postal system, please allow up to 20 days before contacting us about your order. **

We offer a flat shipping rate depending on delivery location:

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to the following countries: USA, Canada, Australia, UK.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Please check with your local customs office if you have any further questions.  HappyTortoises is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

 

How can I track my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 20 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please use the form on the 'Contact us' page with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

 

Can I change something about my order and/or cancel it?

Once an order is made, no changes can be made. Including the item(s), and/or personal information.  So, please be sure of your size, colour, and make sure to provide the correct address before placing an order. No cancellations are allowed at this time. 

 

What happens if my order is returned as I entered an incorrect address?

We will contact you via email to get your correct address for re-shipping the item(s) to you. You will be responsible for re-shipping costs. If you no longer want your order, you will be refunded for the order in the form of a gift card, minus the shipping fee.
